The way i feel today

do you ever feel

so filled up

by the feeling of

possibility

that your heart feels

like it will burst open? 

and when it does

it will spill out all

your hopes and dreams

right onto the floor,

but before they hit the floor,

your dreams will sprout beautiful
 

butterfly wings and fly
 

into the sunset filled sky,
 

and as night falls
 

and the sky darkens
 

 to reveal the stars,
 

your hopes and dreams,
 

the possibility
 

of your potential,
 

will dangle from delicate strings
 

strung on the glistening stars.
